Direct Debit

It is now possible to set up Direct Debit Instructions on-line. In most cases there is no longer any need to complete a paper mandate and sign it. Simply complete the on-line Direct Debit Instruction. We will email you confirmation of your Direct Debit Instruction, and you have the benefit of the Direct Debit Guarantee as shown below.

If you prefer, you can set up your account with us without Direct Debit. You can always set up a Direct Debit Instruction at a later time using our on-line accounts control pages. You can also cancel your Direct Debit Instruction at any time using our on-line accounts control pages. Some of the goods or servcies we offer may only be available when paying by Direct Debit, or on different prices.

Once set up, we will use Direct Debit to collect all of the amounts due on your account with us. We email invoices as normal and also email you confirmation of Direct Debit collection in advance. Normally, you don't need credit terms with Direct Debit, but if you do, we will make the collection in plenty of time to allow for any problems and payment by other means if the Direct Debit fails for any reason - ensuring you can still pay within those terms.

• This Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits
• If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit Andrews & Arnold Ltd will notify you by email 5 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed. If you request Andrews & Arnold Ltd to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of the request
• If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by Andrews & Arnold Ltd or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society
  • If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when Andrews & Arnold Ltd asks you to
• You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required. Please also notify us.
